Commodity Distribution

The Council on Aging & Human Services is the lead agency responsible for countywide distribution by the USDA Temporary Food Assistance Program.

In Palouse, Rosalia, Garfield, LaCrosse, Malden/Pine City, St. John, Oakesdale, Endicott, Tekoa, Colton/Uniontown and Colfax community volunteers distribute food to those who come into our commodity distribution sites.  Call or check your newspaper for specific dates and times.

Many low-income seniors may also be eligible for special Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes.

Community Action Center distributes commodities for Pullman and Albion residents once per month at their Pullman Food Bank location.
