Organize a
Food Drive
We greatly appreciate your willingness to sponsor
a food drive. The Community Food Bank rely heavily on community donations
to meet the growing need for emergency food assistance. A food drive can
be as simple or complex as you desire. A simple food drive might be asking
people attending a local meeting or event to bring a food item with them.
A drive that might require a little more time could be an advertised drive
staged at a local business. Large or small every food drive effort is greatly
appreciated.
Here are five simple steps to having a food drive:
- Decide how you would like to organize your food
drive.
- List and a drive check list for your information.
- Register your Food Drive by filling our the Food
Bank Registration Form and emailing cac@cacwhitman.com
or faxing it to 509-334-9105.
- Please arrange to drop off the food you raise at e Community Food Bank. Donations may be dropped off at CAC Monday to Friday from
8:30 to 4:30 . Special arrangement
may be possible by calling 509-334-9147.
- Please fill out the Food Drive Tally Sheet
and return to CAC.
For your convenience we have included the FOOD
BANK TOP 12 List. Please feel free to copy and distribute this list as
needed.
